This project was to create a hand lettered or physical typographic book cover wrap where the type must express a complex idea such as the book’s story. I created a book jacket for my favorite novel Babel-17. The title of the book is meant to be integrated into the cover’s design and make sense with the book’s story of language and how it is learned and then used. I used Adobe Fresco to illustrate the cover, Illustrator for vector based type, and InDesign for formatting and larger body text.
